| Well, Ruby would call this "Rain". Anyway you want to call it, it has happened! God has opened so many doors for my family, but God has answered personal desires that I have. My situation at my current work has been kind of hard for me the past couple of months, so I have been praying for God to open doors for my somewhere else. Well, He has. I started applying, and the 2nd company I interviewed for just offered me an opportunity to work for them... Some personla requests of mine to God in this new job, a Christian company, more time with my husband, more pay, casual environment ( flip flops casual...), more growth professionally and personally, and most importantly, more time with my husband.... Well, God trully listens and really blesses His children. So I will no longer be working for Archstone-Smith, and now working for Forever 21, Corporate in LA. So I can wear whatever I want, ride the train with my husband, a Christian Company, huge opportunity for growth in Accounting or other areas, more pay and more responsibility, and more importantly, I have an extra 2-3 hours with my husband cause we can take the train together! It saves us maintenance on our cars. God truly blesses the undeserving. With other things my husband and I are pursueing, it allows us to work together, but this has been something that has been in my heart for awhile... so Praise God! | | |
| K, so I have little to no skills when it comes to gardening, but i would love to learn when we have a backyard. Since we don't really have a yard yet, God planted a flower/weed for us to start our great backyard adventure.
I'm sick and at home... so I get to play with the camera and the computer and this is the manalili flower. it's our...family flower, for now, until we get more or until God gives us more...haha
Not only is this our flower, it was taken with the Canon Rebel XT we are selling. This is the type of picture quality you too...can have!

haha..i'm so bored at home...it's not fun being sick! | | |
| Step 2 of starting the business... We are going to be purchasing two new cameras in the very near future, and have a camera to sell. This camera was purchased January 2006 ( it was actually my "we're engaged gift" to JP, but that's OK... ) We are including everything that came in the box. We are also including a lens filter, lens cleaner, camera bag, a USB 2.0 Compact Flash Card Reader, and a memory stick if it will help the camera sell faster. It also has a 4-year warranty that started back in January, 2005, so you can still take advantage of what the warranty has to offer. Here is a glimpse of what it comes with: Here's a snapshot of the benefits you'll receive:
- Parts and labor coverage
- No deductibles, no hidden charges and no out-of-pocket costs
- No lemon policy
- Normal wear and tear coverage
- Power surge protection
- Preventive maintenance on select items
A Best Buy Service Plan is your best defense. See the terms and conditions for product-specific benefits.
All those added accesories allow you to document your life and download your photos the same day you purchase the camera!
| | If you purchase this camera, you are getting an awesome camera and are also helping Beauty For Ashes Photography. I believe it is a win-win situation....so, if you are interested, please post a comment. Best Buy is currently selling just the camera alone for $699.99 (tax rates still apply) We are willing to go between $550 and $600.00. If you are truly interested, you might hit a soft spot in our hearts, and we might go even lower! Either way, let us know if you are interested, we would appreciate it, you will love the camera, and Beauty For Ashes Photography will forever be in debt! | | |
| The business...
The one thing I love about this idea more than the possibility of staying home with future kids, but the fact that i can enjoy this new thing with my husband. I feel truly blessed by seeing how God put us friends together in this romantic relationship, we have so many more things in common than I could have ever thought. It was such an awesome surprise and gift from God.
The one thing that we both love is photography. Even though we both love it, we have such different styles, and you can really see it. Jp loves details and the little things that make things so unique, and i love that too, but i really enjoy seeing a lot. I like depth and making children look smaller than they already are and venues look ginormous!
To give you an idea, here is a wedding we went to with www.red5studios.net
I like this one cause she looks so tiny. She was all over the dance floor!

Here is Jp and the details. It must be important for the bride to have these shots because being a former bride, I know how much thought she must have put into these brown paper bags.

I couldn't help but capture the energy this little girl had. Seeing her in this picture, I hope i was able to capture her personality and this era in her youth.

Jp and his details...I love it!

Well, there will be more to come and more updates on the "business" Stay tuned!
